Mufti Muhammad Ayub Ashrafi Shamsi

Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Ayub Ashrafi Sahib started his initial studies at Dar-ul-Uloom Ahle Sunnah Jabalpur and completed the following course and received the degree of Ifta, in Sambhal, under the tutelage of Shaykh Mufti Moin-ud-Dīn Sambhali (May Allah have mercy upon him).

He was blessed to receive a Ijāza in Hadith from his spiritual guide, Sarkar-e-Kalan Sayyid Mukhtar Ashraf (May Allah have mercy upon him) He thereafter returned to Dar-ul-Uloom Jabalpur where he was appointed as Shaykh al Hadith upon the wish of Huzoor Shaykh ul Islam.

After teaching for six years at Dar-ul-Uloom Jabalpur, he left to become a principal at Dar-ul-Uloom Noor-e-Muhammadīin Dayadra, Gujarat, where he served for a number of years. He was also blessed with receiving Khilafah by Huzoor Shaykh ul Islam. In the meantime, he was invited to visit the UK, at the request of the Muslim community and other notable leaders, he decided to stay in England to serve Islam and Muslims.

He has been serving the community here in Bolton for over 27 years and is the current Imam in Mohaddis-e-Azam Mission Bolton | Masjid Ahle Sunnah, where he leads the Jumuah prayer and provides guidance to the community.
